We're excited that Quintesocial is making its national debut in Portland, Oregon on March 1st!

A message from the Portland Social Director

Welcome to Quintesocial!  My name is Sarah Smith and I am pleased to be your Portland Metro Area Quintesocial Social Director. I chose to work with Quintesocial because I love events and participating in social activities. Some of my friends would call me a social butterfly. I love being around and with people doing all types of things.

I bring all of my enthusiasm for social networking to Portland Quintesocial members. I’ve lived in Portland for ten years and spent my professional (and personal) time creating, producing and attending events.   I love to create experiences for people to participate in and then enjoy being with people at those events.  It is an honor to offer concierge-level service to Quintesocial members.

I love Portland, Oregon and believe it is the perfect city to launch a website to connect people in the real-world.  As a gateway to the ocean, mountains, and rich fertile valley, Portland offers an incredibly broad range of things to do. 

On my first visit to Portland, I was riding the MAX and asking my then boyfriend, now husband, where we should go for breakfast. He said he didn’t know, so I asked a group of people sitting in the train if they knew of any great breakfast spots downtown.  Four people quickly offered up their choices – two mentioning Bijou Café – a breakfast favorite of mine to this day.  To me, that’s Portland - a great place to share experience with friendly people who are always willing to out of their way for you.

I love to know what’s happening in town. I can’t pass a stack of brochures or leaflets without stopping, filling my pockets or jotting down notes.  To be on top of interesting and fun things to do for Quintesocial members, I have a team of people doing just that as well as scouring the internet and connecting with local organizations and companies to pull together everything that is happening in town.  I offer you these listings as one part of our service to you.  Once you tell me what you like to do, it is my job to go out and hunt down or create just the types of activities you’d like to be doing and connecting you with others who’d like to join you!  Come along with me and let’s get out there!
